More Fantasy Gripes

So, as Boss mentioned below, I am getting killed this week. Take a look at this eyesore:

Batting
Pitching

Team
R
HR
RBI
SB
AVG
OPS
W
L
SV
K
ERA
WHIP
Score
Common Stall Donkeys 16 3 11 2 .276 .765 2 3 3 28 7.00 1.89 1
Thomas' Taters 24 8 24 2 .311 .952 3 1 1 29 3.22 1.41 10

Ugh. And this is after posting the following line last week:

R
HR
RBI
SB
AVG
OPS
W
L
SV
K
ERA
WHIP
Score
Common Stall Donkeys 43 16 43 4 .282 .906 3 3 10 59 2.23 1.07 10

16 home runs versus THREE!!?!? Ten saves versus THREE??? With FIVE closers? One of my losses came last night when Matt Lindstrom gave up SEVEN runs in 2/3rds of an inning against the Phillies. Included in those runs was a grand slam by Shane "Hey" Victorino. The final line for Lindstrum? 0.2 IP, 1 K, 94.50 ERA, 10.50 WHIP. Ouch.

Meanwhile, Thomas only has 8 home runs, but three are from Curtis Granderson, who's sporting this line for the week: 5 runs, 3 HR, 4 RBI, 1 SB, .438 Avg., and a 1.500 OPS.

There's a saying that you're never as good as you are when you're playing your best and you're never as bad as you are when you're playing terrible. In reality, you're probably somewhere in between. Well, if last week was my one of my best fantasy weeks ever, then this week is one of my worst ever.

At this point, I'd probably be happy with a 8-4 loss. Doubt that will even happen though.

  1. I guess what goes around, comes around.

Somehow this week, despite my all SP plan, i'm losing Wins but winning Losses against Vito. And my horrible hitting team is beating his out right now to give me a 6-6 week. Which I'll gladly take based on some of my starters performances.
